Custom homes, renovations and commercial projects across Oakville and Halton Region — done properly, every time.
Drywall installation is the foundation of every interior finish. Do it right and everything that follows — taping, painting, trim — is easier and better. Do it wrong and no amount of finishing work will save it.
LR Contracting has been installing drywall across Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Region since 2010. We work on custom new builds, whole-home renovations, basement finishing, additions and commercial fit-outs. Every board is hung to spec, every cut is precise, and every screw pattern is consistent.
We board ceilings first, always. We use the right board type for the right application — moisture-resistant in wet areas, fire-rated where required, sound board where specified. Nothing gets left to chance.

We always board ceilings before walls. This is standard on quality jobs — it creates tighter joints at the wall-ceiling intersection and a more rigid overall installation.
Moisture-resistant in bathrooms and utility rooms. Fire-rated where building code requires. Acoustic where sound control matters. Standard in living areas. The right board for every application.
Consistent 12" field screws and 8" edge screws on walls. Tighter patterns on ceilings. Every screw dimpled correctly — not too deep, not proud. This is what makes the taping stage work.
Coffered ceilings, tray ceilings, barrel vaults, soffits, bulkheads — we do this every week. Complex ceiling geometry is our normal, not our exception.
Every electrical box, pot light, vent and window opening cut clean and tight. Gaps around boxes create problems at the taping stage. We measure twice.
Custom homes, basement finishing, renovations, office fit-outs, retail, multi-unit — we've done it all. Scale and complexity don't change our standards.

½" on most walls and ceilings. 5/8" Type X where fire separation is required by code. ⅝" is also often used on ceilings to reduce sagging on 24" stud spacing. We spec the right product for each application.
